HackVerse: Into the Web
HackVerse: Into the Web is a SpiderMan-themed, story-driven hackathon organized by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE RAS), VIT Chennai Student Chapter, as part of TechnoVIT 2026.
Unlike a conventional hackathon, HackVerse is designed as a 24-hour journey through three progressively challenging sprints, taking participants from rapid ideation to competitive problem-solving and finally to building a real-world, deploy-ready product.
With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility!
Into the Web:
🕸️ 1. Web-Slinger Sprint [Rapid Vibe Coding]:
Kick things off with a high-energy rapid vibe-coding challenge.
Teams get limited time to turn an idea into a functional prototype using modern frameworks, AI coding tools, APIs, and whatever technology they choose.
Focus: Ideation • Rapid Prototyping • AI-Assisted Development • Creativity
🕷️ 2. Spider-Sense Sprint [Competitive Coding]:
Next, put your problem-solving skills to the test.
Teams face a mini competitive-coding challenge involving algorithms, logic, and DSA. Speed and accuracy matter as you compete against other builders.
Focus: DSA • Algorithms • Logic • Speed • Problem Solving
🌐 3. Multiverse Sprint [Build for the Real World]:
Now comes the main challenge.
Teams take their ideas beyond prototypes and build a functional, deployment-ready product with real-world applicability, meaningful technical implementation, and a strong user experience.
Build anything, in any domain - AI, robotics and IoT, fintech, cybersecurity, , automation, Web3 etc.
Focus: Product Engineering • Deployment • Scalability • Real-World Impact
🚀 Open Innovation
No fixed problem statement. No fixed domain. No fixed technology stack.
Have an idea worth building? Build it.
Whether you're creating an AI agent, robotics system, fintech platform, healthcare solution, automation tool, or something nobody has thought of yet, HackVerse gives you the freedom to build what you believe in.
👥 Team Up
Teams consist of 4–5 members.
Build a team that brings different strengths together:
- Developers & engineers
- AI/ML enthusiasts
- Robotics & hardware builders
- UI/UX designers
- Product thinkers
- Entrepreneurs & problem-solvers
The goal is to recreate the dynamics of a real product team—where different skills come together to turn an idea into something meaningful.
🕸️ The Story
HackVerse isn't just a sequence of rounds. It's a hero's journey.
You start as a builder entering the Web. Each sprint introduces a new challenge, pushing your team to think faster, solve harder problems, and build better.
Web-Slinger → Spider-Sense → Multiverse
By the end of the 24 hours, your mission is simple:
Take an idea. Build it. Deploy it. Prove it.
⚡ The Mission
HackVerse is built for people who don't want to just attend a hackathon.
It's for people who want to build under pressure, compete, experiment, collaborate, and ship something real.
With great power comes great responsibility.
